Mildred Desjarlais

1943 ~ 2008

Mary Mildred Desjarlais was born on Monday, February 15, 1943 in Sturgeon Lake, Alberta to Bill and Marceline Desjarlais. She passed away on Tuesday, September 4th, 2008 in Vancouver, B.C. at the age of 65 years.

Mildred was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Marceline Desjarlais and her Granddaughter, Randi Jayne Wilson.
She is survived by her children, Leanne, Oscar (Lynn), Jennifer (Ron), Spike and Darlene (Daryl), Grandchildren, Darnelle (Jon), Colen, Kayla (Dylan), Kelsey, Derrick (Christy), Jessica, Brooklyn, Sara (Stuart), Mathew, Austin, Barry, Tiffany (Corey) and Tasha (Mike), Great-Grandchildren, Carston and Damon, Special Nephew, Darrell Horseman, and sisters, Mary Ghostkeeper and Loretta Calliou.

She will be missed by the Elders Circle Group and many extended family and friends.

A Wake was held on Tuesday, September 9th, 2008 at 7:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall Chetwynd, B.C. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, September 10th, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Fr. David John officiated, Interment followed in the Tuscoola Mountain Cemetery.
