Edith Annie Squires

1911 ~ 2008

Edith Squires passed away peacefully with her family by her side away January 22nd, 2008, at the age of 96 years, in Chetwynd, B.C., during her stay in Palliative care.

Edith was predeceased by her husband, Oswin, better known as Pat. She is survived by her children, Ruby (Wayne), Patricia (Raymond), Ken (Helen), Kelly (Irene), Gwendolyn (Ed), 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, her sister, Alberta and numerous nieces and nephews.

With respect to Edith’s wishes, no formal funeral service was held. A private family interment was held on January 25th, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Tuscoola Mountain Cemetery where Edith was laid to rest with her husband, Oswin Squires.
