A prayer service was be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Dawson Creek.

A mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Notre Dame Catholic Church. Fr Michael Anyasoro officiated; Interment followed in the Dawson Creek City Cemetery.

For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Helen to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Helen was predeceased by her parents; Marshall & Roseanne, Brothers; Ben, Henry and Chet, Sisters; Vicky, Verna, Florence and Jean.

She is survived by her brother, Edward Niedjelski of Vernon, BC. Sons: Jim (Claire) Murray of Perth, W. Australia, Nicole of Squamish, B.C. Thea and grandson Justin of N. Vancouver, B.C. Amanda and Morgan of Perth, Australia, Joe of Kelowna, B.C., Tracy (Dan) Rompre of Prince George, B.C., Taylor, Trevor, Morgan, Jennifer Rutledge of Dawson Creek, B.C. and Janelle Rutledge of Dawson Creek, B.C., Danny (Linda) Murray of Kelowna, B.C., Susan Cooper of Dawson Creek, B.C. Desiree Murray of Penticton, B.C., Mike Murray of Dawson Creek, B.C., Lisa (Ruedi) Bachmann of Pouce Coupe, B.C., Ruedi JR (Anita) Bachmann, Monica (Waylon) Vipond, great granddaughter; Sydney, Adrian (Elisha) Bachmann, Melanie (Tom) Bachmann,
