Clayton was born on Wednesday, March 5, 1941 in Upper Cutbank, B.C. He passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Pouce Coupe Care Home at the age of 68 years.

During his life Clayton was a logger, trapper, sawmill worker and a big game guide. He in particular enjoyed guiding in Northern British Columbia.

Clayton is survived by his brothers, Bert Reed, Lawrence Reed, Alistair Telfer and Gordon Telfer; Sisters, Frances Debolt, Carol Marchand and Ardith Fiebig, Aunts, Relatives and Friends. Clayton was predeceased by his Father, Fred Reed, Mother Ruby, (Reed) Telfer and his Sister, Doris Sawatsky.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the summer of 2010.

Interment will follow the memorial service.
