Mary Sequens passed away peacefully at Rotary Manor in Dawson Creek on December 6, 2009.

Mary Sequens was born to William and Annie Derkach on May 22, 1920. She was predeceased by her husband George Sequens.

Mary is survived by her sister Olga Pritchard in Winnipeg, her only son, Richard Sequens of Dawson Creek, her Grandson Grant Sequens and Granddaughter Deborah Biersteker and two great grandchildren, Zachary and Simone Biersteker, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to all the care givers at Rotary Manor in Dawson Creek. They added greatly to the quality of life in her last days. I would also like to thank Muriel Stanley of the Alzheimer’s society in Dawson Creek for her council and help over the past two years.
